Networks Employment Solutions - For Individuals Recovering from Mental Illness or Substance Use

Provided by Island Community Mental Health

Offers client-driven, individualized support for individuals recovering from mental illness to find and maintain paid employment of their choosing. Works with adults (19 and over) experiencing mental illness and/or substance use issues who want to work.
Clients work collaboratively with Employment Coaches, developing approaches to finding and keeping jobs that work. Networks Employment Solutions gets clients looking for work as soon as they are ready, rather than spending time in assessment and training. The service offers one-on-one assistance for job seekers in meeting their employment goals and offers continual support once work has been obtained or if a job loss occurs.

Clients must be connected to the health care system. This means they receive support from a doctor, case-manager, psychiatrist, or other health care professional and that they are willing to work with their health care professional to follow a treatment plan.

There is no cost to the client or employer.

NetWorks works with adults (19 and over) experiencing mental illness and/or substance use issues who want to work.
