Youth Programs

Provided by Quadra Village Community Centre

Various programs for youth living in Victoria and the surrounding area.
The following programs are offered:
  • Youth & Family Counsellors: School-based Youth & Family Counsellors provide support, counselling, and advocacy for youth and their families.
  • Food Skills for Youth Program: Food Skills for Youth Program is a 13 session program for youth between the ages of 12-18. Bi-weekly Tuesdays 4-7pm.
  • Youth and Family Worker: Offers support, mediation, advocacy, mentoring, goal setting, life skills, safety planning and referrals youth 13-19 and their families. Parenting consultations also available. For residents of Hillside-Quadra and nearby neighbourhoods.
  • The CREW pre-Employment and Lifeskills Program: The aim is to empower youth (ages 12-16) with job ready-ness skills and resources. Staff support youth through group faciliation, and one to one support. Mondays - 4-530pm.
  • Social Connections for Girls & Boys Program: The Girls and Boys Program (QVGBP) is designed to serve youth between the ages of 8-15 in the QuadraHillside community. TThe QVGBP focuses on recreation and mental health education and safety. The program provides a safe environment to ensure the youth are building self-worth, connecting to the community and building relationships with each other while doing recreation in the community and learning about healthy living. The QVGBP provides the girls and boys with a sense of belonging, nurtures their ability to make healthy choices as they develop into young adults, and provides ongoing support from our professional staff team.
  • Youth Drop-In's: Various social and recreational activities for youth.
