Food Security Programs - Victoria

Various food programs that aim to increase food security to Victoria residents.
Fernwood NRG’s offerings aimed at increasing food security, access, skills, and literacy in the neighbourhood. Programs include:
  • Good Food Box: a non-profit fruit and vegetable box program, for everyone to access fresh, affordable produce. Boxes start at $25.
  • Meals: Community meals served weekly by donation, no one turned away. Delicious house-cooked meal and an opportunity for neighbours to connect. Occurs on Monday evenings. By donation; suggested donation $5.
  • Gardens: Two public garden sites demonstrating multiple ways of growing food in the city.
