REES Support Services (Resources, Education, Employment and Support)

A safe, welcoming, and supportive space that provides drop-in access to phones and computers, food & nutrition, socialization, information on and referral to community resources and recovery-focused services, assistance with resume preparation, and more.
The Community Casual Labour Pool employment program: Helps people who have experienced homelessness, poverty, and mental health and substance use challenges return to the workforce with confidence and independence. They provide skilled, temporary workers to businesses and homeowners to help with gardening and yard work, moving, painting, general office help, and a variety of other jobs. .

The Outreach and Support program: The REES outreach program provides accessible, responsive, and practical support to individuals seeking help with financial assistance and income benefits, access to health and social services, housing retention, recovery-oriented supports, and more.

Food & Nutrition: All Cool Aid emergency shelter guests get three meals a day, plus an evening snack. Seniors and residents at some supportive housing sites enjoy one or more nutritious meals daily. All other tenants receive food help as part of our partnership with the Mustard Seed.
