Medical and Dental Clinics for vulnerable populations.
Home to a variety of health and social service providers in a single location to provide services to vulnerable populations. Cool Aid’s health team includes doctors and nurses, counsellors, a nutritionist, psychiatrist, acupuncturist, podiatrist; dentists and dental hygienists; a pharmacist and a pharmacy technician. The Cool Aid Community Health Centre supports patients who are homeless, vulnerable due to mental illness or disabilities and living on very low incomes or who have addiction challenges.

Health Clinic: The Cool Aid Medical Clinic provides primary health care for people who do not have medical coverage, or who live in the downtown core, many of whom suffer from mental health and addiction illnesses and/or other chronic health problems such as head injuries and fetal alcohol syndrome. The medical clinic is currently not accepting new patients

Dental Clinic: The Dental Clinic provides dental treatment for the at-risk population in the community, and strives to remove the barriers to care by providing affordable and subsidized dental treatment.

Mobile Health Clinic: The Cool Aid Mobile Health Clinic visits several locations in the Capital region. The mobile clinic schedule is available online. Services include:
  • Trauma-informed primary medical services
  • Wound care
  • Covid-19 assessments and testing
  • Routine testing, contraception
  • Harm reduction services
  • STI treatment
  • Mental health supports
