Family and Friends Caregiver Support Program

Provided by Beacon Community Services

Provides supports to unpaid caregivers of older adults.
The Family & Friends Caregiver Support Program provides valuable coping strategies, ideas, resources, and support for those caring for loved ones with chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Caregiving is an important role relied upon by many, but it can also be stressful, exhausting, and isolating. No one has to face it alone.

The program is designed to enhance well-being and empower caregivers to succeed in their caregiving responsibilities. Funded by the Government of BC and managed by the United Way British Columbia in partnership with Family Caregivers of BC, the program provides support throughout the caregiving journey.
