How to Access Services from BeConnected:
  • Referrals to BeConnected services are made through Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) and the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).

  • Adults must meet the eligibility criteria set by Community Living British Columbia (CLBC). Once approved for the appropriate level and type of CLBC-funded services, individuals will be asked by CLBC to consider three potential service providers. Individual Preference is the process that allows individuals to express their choice regarding which agency will provide their services. CLBC facilitators can be informed that BeConnected is a preferred service provider for consideration. For more information on adult eligibility, click here.

  • Eligibility for children and youth services (under 19 years of age) is determined by MCFD and must meet the requirements for MCFD’s Children and Youth with Support Needs services. This may include those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, hearing/vision loss, complex health needs, and Intellectual Disabilities. For more information on children eligibility, click here.
