Addictions Outpatient Treatment - Victoria

Provides services to adults 19 and over with drug & alcohol problems. Services are also available to adults affected by a family member's use.
Self-referral for Substance Use Services is initiated by calling the intake team (250-519-3485) to book an appointment to discuss service options.

Referrals from physicians and others may be made through Mental Health and Substance Use Intake. Please fax the MHSU South Island Intake Referral Form to 250-381-3222.

Services provided:
  • Services are free, voluntary and confidential.
  • Services are staffed by professional counsellors.
  • Physicians are available for consultation for clients of the clinic as necessary.
  • Day and evening support groups for men and women.
  • Daytime co-ed intensive educational groups.
  • Limited individual counselling.
  • Gender-specific intensive day treatment groups.
  • Referral to other specialized programs, such as residential treatment and supportive assessments for the purpose of treatment planning.
  • Other groups on topics related to substance use, concurrent issues, and recovery.

Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Navigation Link for Clients/Patients: This service link central access phone number will provide help for clients navigating Island Health services for substance use, harm reduction and mental health. People seeking these services can call 1-888-885-8824 to speak directly with a Service Link provider. (This is not a line for health professionals to initiate a referral).

Substance Use Intake - Victoria Withdrawal Management Services - 1119 Pembroke Street, Victoria, British Columbia, V8T 1J3

Self-referral for Substance Use Services is initiated by attending in person at Substance Use Intake at 1119 or 1125 Pembroke Street daily between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM and arranging for an appointment to discuss service options.

Service is available in English.
