Food Bank and Social Supports - Victoria

Provided by The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul

Provides fresh food to those in need in the Greater Victoria area, as well as additional social support services.
The following programs are offered:
  • Food Pantry: The community pantry allows clients to select fresh and nutritious food of their choice once per calendar month. The food pantry runs Mon/Wed/Thurs/Friday from 12pm-3:45pm, and Tuesdays 2pm-5:45pm.
  • Social Concern Program: They provide access to food, vouchers to access retail locations, and navigation services to housing, employment, income, health resources, well-being and more.
  • Homeless Prevention Fund: A fund for individuals and families who are in short-term crisis and at risk of losing their housing.
  • Volunteer Income Tax Program: Trained volunteers will prepare income tax and benefit returns for individuals and families who have modest income and simple tax situations.
