Social Services and Transportation Services - for Vulnerable and Undeserved Populations

Provides transportation and social support services to people who are unhoused, disabled, elderly, or suffering from mental health and substance use disorders.
Coordinates service provider referrals combined with transportation assistance in the areas of housing, health care, tenancy and legal advocacy for people who are Unhoused, Physically Disabled, Elderly or who suffer from Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. The following services are offered:
  • Management of Social Services: Staff provides connection with reminder calls, transportation and caring support for our vulnerable communities to services they may have difficulties reaching on their own. They contribute by navigating through networks with rides, insuring that clients get to scheduled appointments on time.
  • Social Services: Provides access to basic needs such as food (soup kitchen, meal truck), outdoor clothing and shelter supplies, and hygiene and laundry services; and administrative support for help completing forms, navigation support, referrals to shelters, and support accessing other services such as food banks, etc.
  • Assisted Care Transportation: A subsidized non-emergency transportation service for clients in need of rides to important appointments. Registration required. Priority given to clients enrolled in a recovery program for MHSU.
