Provides information and resources, individual support, and advocacy to children with learning disabilities and their families.
The program offers workshops, support groups, and parent education. Information for adults with a learning disability is also available.
The following programs are offered:
- Academic Skills Program: The Academic Skills program is designed to give students the opportunity to develop their abilities in a wide range of skills. Cost is $40 per hour.
- Reading and Writing Program: Offers reading, writing and thinking skills. Cost is $40 per hour.
- Emotional & Social Development Program: Programs are designed to be fun and use play to explore common themes for children and youth with learning and behaviour challenges. Registration required.
- B.C. Wide Online Reading Program: LEXIA is an engaging online program that addresses the development of reading, spelling, and oral language skills. Cost is $40 per month.
