Information and Support Services for Individuals with Down Syndrome

Parent-to-Parent Connections: Creates a safe space for parents & families in the community to connect.
Social Groups:
- Ups club: for children ages 0-8 and their parents and siblings. This age is flexible.
- Teens Club: For Teens and Nearly Teens. Activities include bowling, cooking, art classes, mini-golf, movie nights, baseball, hockey and day trips
- Adult Group: For ages 19 and up. The group meets approximately every two weeks. Activities include baseball, hockey games, music bingo, live theatre productions, bowling, mini golf, basketball, movies, and lunch.
Educational Outreach: Provides support to local educators and families to effect positive outcomes for inclusive education in the Greater Victoria area and to enhance opportunities for learners with Down syndrome. We do this through several different activities.
Medical Outreach: Provides support to the local medical community both through education and as a resource to support the medical community in serving the health needs of the Down syndrome community.
Membership: A one-time membership payment of $25.00 for regular membership and $5 for Self-Advocate membership applies. Membership is required to access support services.
