Provided by Capital City Volunteers
- Outreach: Outreach workers provide information about resources in the City of Victoria, provide information about programs operating out of James Bay Community Project, link and refer seniors to the right programs.
- Volunteer Delivered Services: CCV has a roster of dedicated volunteers who can assist with tasks including in-home friendly visits, walking, light gardening, reading and writing assistance, computer support, income tax preparation, organizing assistance, minor home repairs, dog walking, medical and errand transportation
- Light House Keeping Services: The Better at Home Light House Keeping Program supports seniors 65+ in the municipality of Victoria and Oak Bay to remain living independently at home. This program offers two hours of service once a month. Cleaning services include full clean of bathroom, basic clean of kitchen, changing bed linens, garbage and recycling, vacuuming and/or cleaning of the floors throughout the home.
