Eating Disorder Program - Adults - South Island

Provided by Ministry of Children and Family Development
The primary treatment modality for adults (19+) in this program is group-based. Additional services may also be offered, such as: nutrition counselling, limited individual (1:1) counselling, psychiatric consultation, and medical monitoring for patients without an existing primary care provider.
Eligibility:
- Adults aged 19 years or older
- Must be residents of South Vancouver Island or Southern Gulf Islands (excluding Gabriola). This includes the following communities: Greater Victoria, lower Malahat Region, and the Southern Gulf Islands of Mayne, Pender, Galiano, Salt Spring and Saturna
- Patients in this program will be struggling with condition(s) such as: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorders, and ARFID (i.e. patient must currently meet diagnostic criteria for an eating disorder, as outlined in the DSM-5TR).
