24-Hour Crisis Line

Provided by Victoria Women's Transition House Society

The Crisis and Information Line provides support and information and can lead to emergency housing for women who are experiencing intimate partner violence and abuse now.
The Crisis Line provides support and information and can lead to emergency housing for women (cisgender and transgender) and non-binary and two-spirit people who identify as part of the women’s community, with or without children and who are currently experiencing intimate partner violence and abuse. Family, friends and professionals can also call for support and information.

The Crisis Line is operated by professional staff and trained volunteers. Staff and volunteers are caring, knowledgeable women who provide information about resources in the community, help to create a safety plan for women at risk of physical violence, and help women create a plan to make safe choices
