Mindfulness Program and Workshops

Provided by Emotions BC Health & Wellness Society of British Columbia Inc.

An in-person introduction and practice of mindfulness to improve mental wellness.
The Mindfulness Workshop is delivered by trained facilitators with lived and living experience, and is for anyone looking to focus on this one skill and how it can help manage their own emotions while striving for healthy and meaningful connections with others. These Mindfulness sessions have been proven to reduce stress reduction and improve mental and physical wellness for participants. And while participants use these skills in all realms of life, they are especially helpful when caring for a loved one with mental illness.

The Mindfulness Workshop consists of 2 half-day workshops which are designed to develop a beginner mindfulness practice and share the benefits of living in the moment without judgment.
  • Register for upcoming Mindfulness Workshops held in the community on the EmotionsBC website (below), or by emailing lauryn@emotionsbc.ca.
  • A $25 no-show deposit will be collected upon sign up for this program, but can be refunded upon attendance of both part 1 and 2 of this workshop.

Note: The 6-week Mindfulness Program has been temporarily replaced with the above multi-part, in-person Mindfulness Workshop.
