Offers free english language courses for newcomers.
Provides face-to-face English language courses to newcomers to Canada.
Camosun's English Language Development (ELD) department currently offers face-to-face and some online English upgrading courses for adult immigrants who speak English as an additional language. We welcome students of all levels (CLB 1 - 8), who progress along our pathway to Grade 12 equivalency and entry to college programs. Thanks to BC Government support, domestic students (Permanent Residents, Protected Persons) study tuition free in our English courses. Additional student fees and textbooks may also be covered by the Adult Upgrading Grant (AUG). International students with a study permit can contact Camosun International for up-to-date fee information. Interested individuals can contact ELD Registration for more information and to book a free placement test to find out their English level.
