Offers free English language courses for newcomers in Canada.
Camosun College offers eight different levels of English as a Second Language (ESL) trainings to help students develop confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing English.
Beginning and pre-intermediate students start with listening and speaking skills, along with an introduction to reading comprehension and written composition. More experienced English language learners will take more advanced courses, to prepare for college and university level programs or to develop professional English skills for the Canadian workplace.
Courses begin in January, March, May, and September. Schedules are flexible to accommodate busy lifestyles, programs are offered full-time, part-time, self-paced; and all year round.
