- Macular Degeneration & Low Vision Support Group: 3rd Thursday of each month 10:00 am —11:30 am Drop In
- Outreach Services: Available to low income seniors aged 65+ living independently in the James Bay area without the support of family or friends. Outreach services may include assessing eligibility for one on one volunteer services, providing information on programs & services or linking and referral to community resources
- In-Home Volunteer Services: Dedicated volunteers are available to support low income seniors to live independently in their home. The first step in applying for this service is a home visit by the outreach worker to assess for eligibility and needs. Volunteers are available to provide walks, computer tutorials, organizing, shopping and errands, reading and writing, yard work, minor repairs, transportation and companionship.
