- ACES (Acquiring Community-Based Employment Skills): ACES provides employability and life-skills workshops, safety certificate and skills enhancement training, and supported work experiences to individuals facing multiple barriers to employment. Participants work with ACES staff to identify their career goals and gain access to the skills, certificate courses, and job readiness supports necessary for them to achieve those goals. ACES participants also receive ongoing support and advocacy for success in long-term employment. More information and the eligibility criteria is available online.
- BladeRunners Program: BladeRunners is a free, employment readiness program for people between the age of 17 to 30. Participants in the BladeRunners program are given support and mentorship for sustainable, long-term employment. The program consists of two weeks in the classroom, followed by one week of assisted job search. Participants can choose from either construction or hospitality.
- CATTS (Construction and Trades To Success): The CATTS Program is a three-week, paid course which provides employability skills training and safety certificate acquisition for the construction and trades industry. After the first few weeks of training, participants are provided up to 20 weeks of paid work experience with ongoing support and mentorship. More information and eligibility is available online.
- Community Employment Services: Provides employment services to all federally released inmates in the form of one-to-one counselling, resume preparation, job search and interviewing skills.
