Provides a wide range of community recreations programs across all ages and stages of life.
The Burnside Gorge Community Centre provides a full continuum of support services to children, youth and families throughout the capital region. Programming includes: a range of childcare programs for ages 3.5 to 11; a range of community and school based youth & family services; housing and asset development supports for youth and families; community recreation and special events for all ages; and a variety of community development initiatives.
Recreation Programs include yoga, fitness, dance, arts, sports, music, healthy living, martial arts, and more. In addition to general community programming, BGCA provides targeted programs for children at Tillicum Elementary as well as Colqutiz Middle Schools. The Camp survivor provides incredible outdoor experiences for youth aged 10-15 years during spring and summer school breaks.
The majority of programs a free, while a small number of programs are offered at a reduced cost.
