Sexual Health Clinic

Provides free confidential information and education regarding sexuality and health.
Island Sexual Health provides current and relevant support through clinical services, education, and products to promote sexual health. Recognizing that sexual wellness evolves over a lifetime, the organization offers inclusive, pro-choice, and sex-positive services for people of all genders, orientations, abilities, and ages in the Greater Victoria area.

Sexual Health Services offered:
  • Cervical (pap) screening
  • Pelvic, genital and testicular exams
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Care including prevention (PrEP for qualifying clients), vaccination, testing, treatment, and support
  • PEP Starts and Renewals
  • Birth/Bleed Control Prescriptions and access for in-clinic prescriptions
  • Emergency Contraception including Emergency IUD insertions
  • IUD and Implant Insertions and Removals
  • Pregnancy Testing and pro-choice supported decision making
  • Gender Affirming Care (Please note, as of 18 May 2023, they are temporarily unable to accept new clients for hormone assessment, surgical care planning or gender affirming primary care. Please contact TransCare BC 1-866-999-1514 to be directed to an available GAC provider in your community.) Gender affirming apparel appointments are still being offered.
  • Free Condoms/Lube and Bleed Control Supplies
  • In clinic store that offers gender affirming apparel, pleasure and sexual health products.

All services are private, non-judgmental, and pro-choice; for everyone, all of the time.

Referrals from another health care professional are not required. Appointments are required, and can be booked online here.
