Abuse / Neglect, Legal, and Victim Services
Provided by Victoria Sexual Assault Centre (VSAC)
- Information, support and accompaniment in making police reports
- Information and orientation on the court process, including assistance with Victim-Impact statements
- Court accompaniment
- Case status information
- Assistance with applications for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)
Note: Even if the assault, sexual or otherwise, occurred outside of Victoria or even Canada, but you are currently a local resident in the Greater Victoria area, VSAC may be able to connect and/or liaise for the victim with other relevant services. Please refer to the CVAP page for more information.
