- Physical / emotional abuse (past or present)
The Citizens’ Counselling Centre has a sliding fee scale based on family/household income, ranging from as low as $10 up to $70 per session.
How to Access Services
- Call the Centre to make a counselling request at 250-384-9934 between 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday (leave a voicemail after hours for a call back)
- Initial intake phone call will take about 10-15 minutes where available services are discussed in reference to individual needs
- An Intake Form will be emailed you; once completed and returned you are placed on the counselling waitlist (typically 2 months)
- The Centre connects with individuals when they are nearing the top of the waitlist to reconfirm availability and preferences
- The counsellor will call the individual within a couple weeks to book the first session
