Rapid Access Addiction Clinic (RAAC) - Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT Clinic) - Victoria

Supports individuals with opioid use disorder by starting and maintaining clients on opioid agonist (replacement) therapy (Buprenorphine/Naloxone[Suboxone]/Methadone/Kadian).
Clients are enrolled in the multi-disciplinary, intensive, short-term service while they stabilize. Clients are supported as they transition to longer-term community services including primary care providers.
The RAAC offers:
- Assessment
- Buprenorphine (Suboxone), Methadone, or Slow Release Oral Morphine (SROM-Kadian)
- Treatment plan creation
- How to reduce harm to yourself and others
- Take Home Naloxone
- Referrals to social and peer support services
- Supportive transitions to community services and supports

Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Navigation Link for Clients/Patients: This service link central access phone number will provide help for clients navigating Island Health services for substance use, harm reduction and mental health.
